pet adoption

OK, somebody said there was a cat forum but I can't seem to find it. Maybe I don't know where to look for it, but I can't find it.

Does this area have a "pound" for animals to visit to pick out a cat to adopt? I know SMAWL has adoptions at the pet store. What other options do I have to meet some potential pets?

Thanks in advance. I know we are all getting tired of the cat posts, lol, but I can't seem to find any info!

:banghead: Why did I go look? Why? There are two little rat terriers that need to stay together. :frown:

VINCE!! Where are you? You need these little guys.

Yeah, they've been there a bit too. I'm just not a small doggie person but I hate to see any pet without a home.

When I went to look for Yosh there was the CUTEST siamese mixed kitten there. N has made the mistake of telling me I can have whatever makes me happy.... :jameo: His saving grace was that it was a boy kitty and after Yoshi's bad litter box habits and affection for a life of crime I don't think I'll ever own another boy kitty ever.

I already have one rattie.

That they want to place them together is going to be problematic.

If I wasn't selling my house I'd get them. It's really hard showing a house and having animals. Between the cat and the dog I'm sure people think I decorate the place in fur.

There was also a 12 year old Boston I was tempted to take just because it was pitiful and so sad looking. A 12 year old dog in a shelter, how does that happen? If Moo wasn't so obnoxious I'd of gotten it.

www.petfinder.com is THE best resource for looking for animals to adopt. You can search by area or type of animal you want. Good luck on your search!
