Just found on the internet via various searches... call to verify that they still allow pets! (called Super 8 Motel in Prince Frederick, to double-check because I heard it allowed pets!)

Size of your pet is another issue
If you have a dog larger than 25 lb, many "pet-friendly" hotels aren't so friendly.
We relocated up here from Florida in Dec, and have a dog that weighs 85 LB.
RedRoof Inns were the only place we could stay and that's because they allow up to 80 lb dogs and we lied that he weighed 80.
Good luck! Most pet-friendly hotels are not so pet-friendly anymore.

They certainly weren’t very accommodating toward my seeing-eye bear.
Maybe the hotels around here have different rules. We've taken our dog (#75 GSD) to a few Sleep Inns (and other top chain hotels) when we traveled across the country 2 years ago. We never had a problem, (except in Yellowstone) and a couple never even charged us extra.

There was a swimming pool, complimentary breakfast etc. . . . hey wer just very nice and accomidating. High recomenadation for traveling with dogs here.
