Petco Big Adoption Event Saturday

Petco in California, MD is having it's first semi-annual all rescue adoption event this Saturday, April 18 starting at 11am. This event will be held in the parking lot and will include many different rescues from the area. SECOND HOPE RESCUE will be bringing wonderful dogs and cats looking for homes. I go to Petco every week to say hi to all the kitties. It breaks my heart everytime I leave. Most of them always look so sad and depressed and they are just waiting for someone to take them home.

I am the same way. I can't go to any pet store and I want to take in any animal I think may be a stray. In my head, I know that 2 kids, one dog and 2 cats is enough, but in my heart, I always have room for more.

It sounds like this event is going to be a blast. I'm going to try and swing by there after my animal first aid class!!
