No matter how much coercion lefties try to apply, America is still not, and may never be ready for a woman President. Even less so for a President who's not only gay, but loud about it as well.
America's allies (other than Canada) are not ready for a gay President. Her enemies: even less so. Why is that important? you ask. It's important because enemies have to respect, even fear the President. No one was afraid of Obama; no one respected him. It was all they could do to keep from laughing in his face.
Remember, we're talking about enemies who have, or are working to acquire nuclear weapons, and who aren't afraid to use them liberally. They do not see gays as anyone worthy of life, let alone respect.

I am probably in a minority of conservatives that don't give a chit if you are gay, straight, black, brown, whatever...A leader is a leader,PERIOD. Do I think any of the declared candidates are electable?? Hell no..but its their character and ideas that make them unelectable not their orientation or color.

It's not about him being gay; it's about him being weak with bad ideas. He and his media fawners care WAY more about him being gay than most Americans do. He's already whipping out the "I was a war hero!" line, and John Kerry could tell him that's a loser with Democrats.

That's why. He needs something to set him apart from the rest of the America-hating Socialists, and "See me being gay?!?!?" isn't resonating with anyone except Anderson Cooper and a few CNN faghags. So now he's decided to be a war hero.
"I'm a Socialist" followed up with, "Oh by the way, I was a member of your armed forces" should really give every true American pause.
