PGPD PGPD Arrests Suspect in Connection with Camp Springs Fatal Shooting

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a man in connection with the recent fatal shooting in Camp Springs. The suspect is 18-year-old Christian Okubo of Temple Hills. He’s charged with the murder of 23-year-old Anthony Bullock of Washington, D.C.

On May 30, 2025, at approximately 10:00 am, officers responded to the 7000 block of Allentown Road for the report of a shooting. Officers located Bullock suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified Okubo as the suspect. The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect and victim were known to each other. The motive remains under investigation.
Okubo is charged with first degree murder and related charges. He’s in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
