The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a suspect in connection with the murder of his girlfriend. The suspect is 65-year-old William Snipes of Washington, DC. He’s charged with the murder of 60-year-old Sharon Moore of Capitol Heights.
The victim was transported to a hospital with traumatic injuries on June 29, 2024, and died on July 2, 2024. On August 16, 2024, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Moore’s cause of death was due to multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death a homicide. The Fugitive Unit located and arrested Snipes this morning.
He is charged with first and second degree murder. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
