PGPD PGPD Arrests Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit detectives charged the suspect wanted for a fatal shooting Tuesday night. The suspect is 39-year-old Jalleel Jackson of Washington, DC. He’s charged with the murder of 33-year-old Christopher Hall of Carrollton, Virginia.

On February 10, 2026, at approximately 10:45 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 3300 block of 52nd Avenue in the unincorporated section of Hyattsville. Once on scene, they located Hall suffering from gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at a hospital.




The preliminary investigation revealed Jackson shot Hall during a dispute. The suspect and victim were coworkers at a business where the shooting occurred.



The PGPD Fugitive Unit, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, took the suspect into custody in Washington, DC, where he remains pending extradition to Prince George’s County. Jackson is charged with first degree murder and related charges.
