PGPD PGPD Arrests Two Suspects for Fatal Shooting in Oxon Hill

The Homicide Unit charged two men in connection with a fatal shooting in Oxon Hill on Monday. The victim is 33-year-old Howard Nakia Graham of Washington, DC. The suspects are 24-year-old Deantre Hilliard of the 1400 block of Tobias Drive in Southeast, Washington DC, and 39-year-old Leonard Toney of the 4400 block of Reverend Davis Drive in Upper Marlboro.

On March 30th, at approximately 7:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 800 block of Southern Avenue for a shooting.Officers found Graham outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A second person was also shot. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Responding patrol officers observed a vehicle matching the car driven by the suspects. Officers stopped that car nearby and took the two suspects into custody. A gun was recovered in the vehicle. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.

The suspects are charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. They are in custody at the Department of Corrections.
