The Prince George’s County Police Department is proud to take in the first ever National Faith & Blue Weekend. The Department is partnering with faith-based organizations and Houses of Worship across the county to host community outreach projects in each of our eight police districts. Among the events – a winter clothing giveaway, a community cleanup project, a school supply drive and several food distribution events. All of these events will take place between October 9th and October 12th.

“The relationship between the PGPD and the county’s faith-based community is a relationship this agency truly values. The National Faith & Blue Weekend is a unique opportunity to continue to strengthen that bond and reinforces the message that we all benefit when we invest in working together,” said Interim Police Chief Hector Velez.
