PGPD PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in Bowie

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a single car crash that occurred Saturday morning in Bowie. The victim is 65-year-old Joni M. Coleman of Mitchellville.

On Saturday November 14th, 2020 at approximately 9:15am, officers responded to the intersection of Byward Blvd and St. Joseph’s Dr. Preliminarily, the victim’s car, was traveling westbound on Byward Blvd and for reasons that are still under investigation, veered off the road to the right striking two unoccupied parked cars before coming to a stop.

The victim was transported to Prince George’s Hospital where she was pronounced deceased a short time later.
