The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Chillum Wednesday morning. The victim is 55-year-old Sharon Henry of District Heights.
On August 14th, at approximately 7:00 am, officers responded to the intersection of Queens Chapel Road and Russell Avenue for a vehicle collision. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. A second involved driver suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation reveals the victim’s vehicle and the second car collided in the intersection of Queens Chapel Road and Russell Avenue. Investigators are working to determine the sequence of events leading to that collision.
