PGPD PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in College Park

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in College Park that occurred on Saturday. The victim is 88-year-old Duangduen Schulick of Cable Drive in Kensington.

On January 26th, at approximately 6:40 am, patrol officers were called to the area of Baltimore Avenue and Edgewood Road for a collision involving three vehicles. The officers located Schulick unresponsive in her car. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was traveling southbound on Baltimore Avenue,
when for reasons which remain under investigation, her car rear-ended a Mazda that stopped at a red traffic light. After that initial impact, the victim’s car then struck a Ford pickup truck head on. The two other involved drivers were not hurt.
