The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in District Heights early Sunday morning. The victim is 21-year-old Trevon Hudson-White of Foxcroft Court in Clinton.
On March 31st, at approximately 1:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 1700 block of Ritchie Road for a fatal vehicle collision. The preliminary investigation shows that Hudson-White’s car was traveling westbound on Ritchie Road, when for reasons that remain under investigation, it crossed the double yellow line into the eastbound lanes and struck another car head-on. Hudson-White was pronounced dead on the scene. A passenger in his car and the driver of the second vehicle both suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators are looking into whether excessive speed played a role in this crash.
