The Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a crash that occurred earlier this month in Temple Hills. An involved-driver has since died of his injuries. The victim is 38-year-old Keith Valentine of Suitland.
On March 20th, at approximately 7:40 pm, officers responded to the 3100 block of Branch Avenue for a collision involving a dirt bike and an SUV. Valentine, the driver of the dirt bike, was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The preliminary investigation revealed Valentine was traveling southbound on Branch Avenueand the involved SUV was heading northbound on Branch Avenue. The dirt bike collided with the SUV when the SUV attempted to make a left turn.
