The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating the circumstances of a fatal crash in the town of Cheverly. The deceased driver is 27-year-old Corey Fuller of Capitol Heights.
On October 3, 2021, at approximately 9:10 pm, patrol officers responded to Columbia Park Road at 64th Avenue for a single-vehicle crash. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. He was the only occupant in the car.
The preliminary investigation revealed the driver was travelling westbound on Columbia Park Road, when for reasons now under investigation, his car exited the roadway and ultimately struck a pole.
The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all fatal crashes that occur in the town of Cheverly.
