On April 30th, at approximately 9:45 pm, patrol officers were called to the area of Marlboro Pike near Dower House Road for a fatal single-vehicle collision. Brown was pronounced dead on the scene. He was the only occupant in the car.

The preliminary investigation reveals Brown was travelling southbound on Marlboro Pike when for reasons that remain under investigation, his car left the roadway and ultimately struck a tree.
