PGPD PGPD Investigates Fatal Shooting in District Heights

The Prince George’s County Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday in District Heights. The victim is 34-year-old Edrian Hernandez of Silver Spring.

Patrol officers were called to the 6200 block of Hil Mar Circle East for a shooting at approximately 5:00 pm. Hernandez was located inside of a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at the hospital.

Detectives are working to develop suspect(s) and a motive in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
