PGPD PGPD Investigates Homicide in Capitol Heights

Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man in Capitol Heights on Saturday. The victim is 31-year-old Solomon Brown of no fixed address.

On April 4th, at approximately 1:30 pm, officers responded to the 800 block of Kayak Avenue for a welfare check. Responding officers located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s).
