PGPD PGPD Investigates Homicide in Landover

Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man in Landover. The victim is 20-year-old Maurice Magruder, Jr. of Landover.

On June 23rd, at approximately 1:50 pm, officers responded to the 3100 block of Duvall Ridge Road for a shooting. Responding officers located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.

Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s).
