PGPD PGPD Investigates Homicide in Langley Park

Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who killed a man in Langley Park on Wednesday. The victim is 34-year-old Cristian Montoya-Canales of Berwyn Heights.
On March 18th, at approximately 7:10 am, officers responded to the 1500 block of Merrimac Drive for a welfare check. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Montoya-Canales outside suffering from trauma to the body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s).
