PGPD PGPD Investigating Domestic-Related Fatal Stabbing

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating a fatal domestic-related stabbing in a home in College Park Sunday evening. An adult male, who lived in the home, suffered fatal injuries. He is identified as 45-year-old Asinia Stewart.

On October 22, 2023, at approximately 8:40 pm, officers responded to the home in the 3400 block of Metzerott Road. Stewart was located inside suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.



Investigators have identified the individuals involved in this incident who are family members. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.



Detectives are consulting with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office to determine whether any charges would be appropriate.
