The Homicide Unit is investigating a domestic-related murder/suicide in Clinton. The victim is 37-year-old Kelvin Rascoe. The deceased suspect is his brother, 32-year-old Benjamin Rascoe. They lived together in a home in Clinton.
On August 16th, at approximately 12:05 pm, patrol officers responded to the 11700 block of Mordente Drive for a shooting. Officers discovered the victim inside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. The suspect was discovered in a bathroom suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. They were both pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation reveals Benjamin and Kelvin got into a physical altercation and Benjamin shot and killed Kelvin before taking his own life.

La Unidad de Homicidio investiga un asesinato/suicidio relacionado a asuntos domésticos en Clinton. La víctima fue identificada como Kelvin Rascoe de 37 años de edad. El sospechoso fenecido era su hermano de 32 años de edad, Benjamin Rascoe. Ambos vivían juntos en el mismo hogar en Clinton.
El 16 de agosto, a eso de las 12:05 pm, oficiales de patrulla acudieron a la cuadra 11700 de Mordente Drive ante un reporte de balacera. Los oficiales hallaron a la víctima con heridas de bala dentro de la residencia. Luego hallaron al sospechoso en un baño con una herida de bala auto-infligida. Ambos fueron declarados muertos en la escena.
La investigación preliminar determinó que Benjamin y Kelvin tuvieron un altercado físico que culminó con Benjamín disparándole a Kelvin antes de quitarse su propia vida.
