The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Thursday night in Beltsville. The identity of the deceased rider will be released once next of kin notification has been made.
On June 1, 2023 at approximately 6:05 pm officers responded to the area of Powder Mill Road and Old Gunpowder Road for a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, who was riding a motorcycle, lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a guardrail. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
