PGPD PGPD Investigating Fatal Collision in Temple Hills

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred in Temple Hills on Saturday morning. The deceased driver is 60-year-old Douglas Brown of Clinton.

On August 31, 2024, at approximately 9:45 am, officers responded to a collision involving a sedan and SUV in the area of Branch Avenue and Oxford Road. Once on scene, they located two vehicles with two occupants in each with injuries. They were all taken to the hospital where Mr. Brown was pronounced deceased a short time later. The remaining occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
