The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is in the early stages of an extensive investigation into a fatal collision in Clinton on Wednesday morning. The victim is 32-year-old Shamika Brown of Ethan Manor Road in Clinton.
At approximately 6:30 am, patrol officers responded to a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Branch Avenue and Surratts Road. The collision involved a tractor trailer, a school bus and five additional vehicles. Brown was driving one of the involved cars. The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt. The driver and two passengers on the school bus suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. Two additional drivers also suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
