PGPD PGPD Investigating Fatal Crash Involving Motorcycle

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle on Saturday in Temple Hills. The identity of the deceased rider will be released once his name is confirmed and his family is notified.


On June 3, 2023, at approximately 3:45 pm, officers responded to the area of Branch Avenue and Curtis Drive.



The preliminary investigation revealed the victim, who was riding a motorcycle, was heading southbound on Branch Avenue when he attempted to make a U-turn into the northbound lanes. The involved driver was heading northbound on Branch Avenue and collided with the motorcycle in the intersection. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he later died. The driver of the involved vehicle was not injured.
