The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle on Tuesday in the unincorporated section of Upper Marlboro. The deceased rider will be identified once his family has been notified.
On June 11, 2024, at approximately 9:45 pm, officers responded to the area of Woodyard Road and Perrywood Road for the report of a crash. Once on scene, officers located the rider in the roadway. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed the motorcyclist collided with a car in the northbound lanes of Woodyard Road. A second driver travelling southbound was also involved in this collision. The two drivers were not injured and remained on the scene.
