The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a now fatal pedestrian collision in District Heights. The collision took place on April 12, 2020. The victim died on April 13th. The victim is 33-year-old Eric Henderson 2ndof Bowie.
On April 12th, at approximately 8:
00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6400 block of Hil Mar Drive for collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, Henderson, was rushed to a hospital for critical injuries. The involved driver and passenger remained on the scene.
The preliminary investigation reveal
ed that Henderson 2nd was struck as he crossed Hil Mar Drive. He was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision.
