The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Glenn Dale. The victim is 63-year-old Donald Charles King of Bowie.

On September 17th, at approximately 5:50 am, patrol officers were called to Annapolis Road at Atwell Drive for a pedestrian collision.

The preliminary investigation reveals
King was attempting to cross Annapolis Road midblock when he was struck by a vehicle. The victim was not in a crosswalk at the time. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver remained on scene.
