PGPD PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Fort Washington

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is working to determine the circumstances of a fatal shooting late Saturday night in Fort Washington. The victim is 29-year-old Jether Bonds of Fort Washington.



On July 24, 2021, at approximately11:50 pm, officers responded to the 6800 block of Cherryfield Road for a reported shooting. The officers discovered Bonds outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.



Detectives do not believe this to be a random shooting and are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).

PGPD Investiga Mortal Tiroteo en Fort Washington
