Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man late Monday night in Oxon Hill. The victim is 19-year-old Bryant Brooks of Oxon Hill.
On September 30th, at approximately 10:40 pm, patrol officers responded to the 400 block of Winslow Road for the report of a shooting. Officers discovered the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. Brooks was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and determine a motive. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
