Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a homicide in Temple Hills that occurred Sunday. The victim is 31-year-old Kirk Jacques Francois Lyles of no fixed address.
On July 28th, at approximately 2:30 pm, officers responded to the 4000 block of 21st Place for a reported shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the victim on a sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite all life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.
Detectives are working to identify suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
