PGPD PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in the Town of Bladensburg

Detectives with our Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday in the Town of Bladensburg. The victim is 33-year-old Christian Artiga of Alexandria, Virginia.



On May 15, 2021, at approximately 3:10 am, officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot in the 5600 block of Annapolis Road in the Town of Bladensburg. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.



Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.



The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides in the Town of Bladensburg.
