Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal stabbing inside of a Langley Park home. Investigators are also working to identify the decedent. His identity will be released once he is identified and his family is notified. The preliminary investigation revealed this was not a random incident.
On May 20th, at approximately 1:45 am, patrol officers were called to the 8100 block of 15th Avenue in Langley Park for the report of a stabbing. They located the decedent, an adult male, inside of an apartment suffering from a stab wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
