The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Tuesday evening in the incorporated section of District Heights. The victim is 45-year-old Terence Savoy of District Heights.
On June 18, 2024, at approximately 6:20 pm, officers responded to the 6100 block of Old Silver Hill Road for a report of a cutting. Officers located the victim on the ground suffering from trauma to the body. Savoy was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and determine a motive.
