The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a residential armed robbery that occurred in College Park late Wednesday night.
On October 30th, at approximately 10:40 pm, officers responded to the 7500 block of Dickinson Avenue. When they arrived on the scene, the officers met with the victim, an adult male, who advised he let two unknown suspects into the residence. The preliminary investigation reveals the suspects and victim got into a dispute during which one of the suspects struck the victim. The second suspect, who had a gun, then fired one round inside of the home. No one in the house was hurt. The suspects then fled the residence with the victim’s cell phone.
Detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
