Phase 2 school bus routes for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) students returning to in-person instruction on Monday, March 22, will be updated in ParentVue later today. This includes bus numbers, bus stop information as well as estimated pick-up and drop-off times for students. Transportation routes have only been established and assigned to Phase 2 students whose parents requested bus transportation for their child to and from school.
Parents can locate this information in ParentVue, under the Student Information menu. When using ParentVue through a desktop computer or laptop, parents can scroll down to the bottom of the Student Information menu page to view school bus information for their child. When using the ParentVue mobile app, parents should click on the Student Info menu, and then select Additional Information from the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
The information is also available in a child’s StudentVue account, under the same menu areas.
Transportation information for special needs students will also be posted in ParentVue. In prior school years, CCPS staff would call parents to arrange special needs transportation.
Parents with a child returning to in-person instruction March 22 and using CCPS bus services should check ParentVue the weekend before school begins to make sure no changes were made to their child’s bus details. CCPS transportation staff may adjust routes next week and changes are possible.
The Student Information menu in ParentVue includes Phase information specific to a child (Phase 2, 3 or 4). Other information includes if the child is returning for in-person instruction, if the parent requested transportation, or the parent chose virtual learning for their child.
Parents of students who requested Phase 2 bus service but do not see the selection in ParentVue (screen says Phase Bus Choice No) should contact their child’s school. Parents with concerns about a bus stop assignment should complete an online transportation help ticket at https://www.ccboe.com/transportation/?page_id=182.
