ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan made several stops throughout Western Maryland today as part of a COVID-19 recovery tour.
America’s VetDogs Program at Western Correctional Institution. Maryland is part of the America’s VetDogs program, which provides veterans, first responders with disabilities, and active duty service members with service dogs trained by inmates.
West Side Elementary School. The governor stopped by West Side Elementary School to thank staff, faculty, and teachers for providing a safe learning environment for students. The students gave the governor thank you cards throughout his visit.
Fore Axes. The governor also visited Fore Axes, an axe-throwing and golf simulator lounge located in downtown Cumberland.
