We are ready to provide a soft landing for companies that want to explore the market, make connections, and build relationships with American businesses.”

During his remarks, the governor recognized First Lady Yumi Hogan, and recognized her leadership in strengthening the state’s bonds with Korea, including the recent opening of a new Koreatown in Ellicott City.

The governor also highlighted the state’s commitment to help build a new Wall of Remembrance at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the signing of a new cooperative agreement last year between Maryland and the Korean SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) to help new Korean companies explore the U.S. market.
