ANNAPOLIS, MD—On the second day of his Eastern Shore tour, Governor Larry Hogan attended the Delmarva Shorebirds game against the Fredericksburg Nationals at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury.
The governor was joined by Del. Carl Anderton, Acting Wicomico County Executive John Psota, Salisbury University President Chuck Wight, and Salisbury Wicomico Economic Development Director Dave Ryan.
The Shorebirds received a $244,716 grant as a live entertainment venue through the Maryland Strong: Economic Recovery Initiative.
During the pandemic, Perdue Stadium served as one of the state’s first mass testing sites.
