ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today launched Maryland’s GoVAX Summer Tour at Seacrets Ocean City. The tour is bringing mobile clinics and vaccine outreach to cultural and community events, bars and breweries, and popular destinations across the state.
Today’s mobile clinic was hosted by the Maryland Department of Health in partnership with Seacrets and the Worcester County Health Department. Anyone who received a COVID-19 vaccine was given a voucher for savings on their favorite dish, beverage, or merchandise.
No appointment is needed at any of the GoVAX Summer Tour mobile clinics, and vaccines are free. Maryland residents 18 and older who have received or plan to receive a COVID-19 vaccination in the state will automatically be entered into the Maryland Lottery’s $2 million VaxCash promotion.
