ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today visited Washington County Technical High School in Hagerstown and toured its Advanced Manufacturing Engineering lab, which opened exclusively at the school this year.
Through a partnership with Meritus Health, Washington County Technical High School is using its 3D print farm to produce protective face shields for healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Maryland’s career and technical education students have been a central focus of the Hogan administration’s efforts to safely reopen schools for in-person learning.
