Ok, it is starting to get a little warmer, and its time to get the camera going more! So what will you be looking to take pictures of in the next few months? What vacations are you taking the little digital snapper on this year? Are you going to take a class, go on a photo safari, or anything of that nature. Speaking of nature, what spots have you found that you plan to revisit once the weather permits? Lets here some peoples plans for this year?

To get us started, I will list a few things I have been thinking of.....

1. Taking the new wide angle out for more sunset pictures.
2. Got some sports shooting planned.
3. Thinking of going to a civil war re-enactment.
4. Conowingo Dam, for eagle pictures but its getting late for that now.
5. Budds Creek MX in Aug.
6. Try to get to Luray for some pictures.

We're moving from NC back up to MD sometime in the future (husband's being transferred but our son and I have to hang back until our house is sold) so I'm kind of in limbo. I am shooting a wedding at the end of May, which I'm ridiculously excited about. Once we do get back up to MD, I'd like to spend some time in DC and try my hand at street photography.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
jbr-I have the locations of a couple of eagle's nests around here. I think there are at least 4 nesting pairs down here where I live. Ospreys will be here in a bit. There are a couple of spots on St. Clement's Island where you can walk to within 20 ft of a nest or two.

My shot list for this year.
1-The littlest guy will be crawling soon.
2-Fishing with the oldest.
3-Going to get serious about using Elements
4-Experimenting with more of the settings on my S5
5-Optimist club events and the Lighthouse

Sounds fun; will be waiting to see what you get.

I expect to...
... begin forcing myself to get out extra early for some fleeting sunrise shots;
... try some new things in PS;
... network and get some of my work displayed wherever I can;
... go back to work for the VT State Parks Dept. to capture portraits of people being active;
... compile a portrait project I have been thinking about for a little while.

I havent been happy with anything that ive shot lately, and feel i really need to work on pre-visualization more than i have been.

I also want to work on;

-utilizing the equipment i have more efficiently and effectively
-composition
-visiting some new places, and re-visit some old places
