Routinely Derailed
[SIZE=+1]So last night I went to bed after sighting Pi (formerly Princess) the cat briefly when she came out to eat. She won't let me get within 10 feet of her. I have wondered a little how she and Lenny, my dog, get along while I'm not home.
I went to bed eventually, and was laying there and waiting for sleep to come, when I heard a strange noise in my bedroom. It took me a while to realize I was hearing Pi purring. I heard Lenny licking his lips a few times, and eventually figured out that Pi was in the room to see Lenny. She stayed quite a long time - as a matter of fact I fell asleep listening to her purring. I imagine she had curled up next to Lenny and chose to stay with him.
