Makes me miss my home
Used to hang out on that track growing up. I was raised in Knoxville and my uncle raced himself and was a major race fan so I spent a lot of time on the tracks. Thanks for the memories

I didn't mean it that way!!! I meant before NASCAR became the monster it is today...
Uh huh, anyway, yeah it was nice then. I do miss that smell too. Nothing like the smell of hot rubber on the tracks! I also remember not being able to hear anything when they went by and lord how your chest rumbles. It was awesome. Probably why I am such a muscle car freak to this day!

And it's loud! I remember when we went, even wearing the good headphones to listen to the scanner, it was hard to hear the drivers/crew chiefs talking because the noise is so intense.
