Anyone know what happened here? Had another pic turn out like this. Did I "hurt" my camera?

after you have put your pics on your hard drive and/or CD. Delete them from the camera card and reformat it. You should do this everytime, it will save you heartache later on.

It was a brand new card. First time I've ever seen anything like it.

We were there: left during that snowstorm!
Enjoyed the beach walk the day before...House of Blues...Barefoot village...Carolina Roadhouse.

Really want to do it again (during "off-season")

Thanks for posting those shots!!
Sorry we didn't bump into you!

Belvak,

I did a quick search on 'Myrtle Beach' and found this thread. Then I saw your Senor Frogs picture. Yay!!! We're going in August and this will be my first ever Myrtle Beach trip. Any tips you could provide would be awesome!

Chasey, we generally go in the winter when lots of stuff is closed for the season, so I'm not sure how much help I will be!! One thing I know for sure, it will much more crowded!! Broadway at the Beach (Ripley's Aquarium, I-MAX 3-D theater, and Senor Frogs, Margaritaville), Barefoot Landing (I was getting over the flu, so we didn't do much here), Calabash (great seafood and some shops) are definite must-dos! There are plenty of golf courses, charter fishing, and of course, beaches!! North Myrtle isn't quite so "touristy" with all the surf and T-shirt shops lining the highway. Hubby likes staying up that way better. I'm sure others will chime in here with more advice! Hope you have a great vacation!!!

Was at the Beach last week for the first time for a few days. Stayed at Surfside Beach, and it was nice. Never did get a good sunrise or sunset but got a couple shots that I liked.

These were taken early in the morning after it had rained and it was just foggy and misty.

Im going too, Sept. 3-11.. For good food Carolina Roadhouse.:yay: I absolutely love Myrtle Beach.:yahoo:

Alot of places to go in the evening, with or without kids.
With kids Dixie Stampede, with or without Alabama Threatre, and Carolina Opry, both places have excellent entertainment shows. Then there is Ripley's, Two outlet centers for shopping. Many excellent places to eat, for seafood Murrels Inlet, Drunkin Jack's to name one of the many seafood places. The Mrs and I's favorite is the Carolina Roadhouse.
We stay right in Myrtle Beach, Ocean Blvd and 21st. Been staying same place for about 7 years now, right on the beach.

Carolina Opry --Good Vibrations was excellent and so was the regular show. The Legends was super. The Blue Brothers impersonator were awesome. Texas Roadhouse food was great and not a bad price either...There is something to keep you occupied if you want it, or you can just stay on the beach.

Ive seen both the regular shows at both Alabama and Carolina several times over the years and always enjoyed. Murder Mystery Dinner at House of Blues is also good. So far hitting Good Vibrations for second time since they started that show up when I go this year. Usually try to hit 2-3 shows each time we go down, but this year we are passing on Opry and the One show, since we have seen those two recently in the past 2 years. Palace Theater also has very good shows to see.
