I've always know pigs-in-a-blanket to be hot dogs, or more usually, the smokey joe mini dog wrapped in a thin piece of dough and baked. You can make them easy enough, or just buy them oven ready in the freezer section. Make up your own honey or honey mustard dip and you're all set.
