Pirates hijacked a South Korean trawler off the coast of Africa on Tuesday, escaping into Somalia's territorial waters after threatening the ship's crew, the U.S. Navy reported.

So our ships backed off when they threatened to kill the crew? What happened to the crew in the end?? Don't they normally kill them anyways?

So we let them get away so they can kill more tomorrow...

Rules of Engagment. We can't endanger innocent lives. The US warships are under Dutch command I think also which might have something to do with it.

I think it's probably because we're conducting more patrols in the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf than we used to.
