if anyone in the ridge area is missing there pitbull you need to go to hughesville to pick it up. Someone thought it was cute to put him/her in our fenced in yard during the night and tried to go after me and bruno by lunging at teh fence and trying to get through it to get me and the dog.
thanks a/c for coming to pick it up you saved my life and my dogs life .
Oh my that is just wrong! I am glad that it did not harm you or your dog! What a way to be greeted in the morning huh?
I woulda shot it. No A/C needed.
someone put the dog in your fenced in yard, and u were outside of it, and the dog lunged at you? who would put the dog in your fenced in yard??? thats crazy!

Could have jumped the fence into your yard...which is more likely what happened.
I have no clue who did it. I was sleeping when the dog was put in there. I woke at 1am to pee and heard a dog barking and thought it was in the field til i got outside with bruno and umm i ran back in as fast as I could with bruno and waited on the a/w.
the fence is 6' tall and gates were shut with the handle put down so someone had to physically come and open it I don't know of any dog that can jump a 6' fence that is chainlink.
Hehe. My boy will clear a 6 foot fence. A Pitt can climb one easy.
This thread is making my brain bleed.
ok i forgot to mention i live in an apt. the fenced area is about 50ft from my front door and you have to unlock the handle to get in and out as the gate is always shut. it is just to protect the trailers and campers from being stolen and I use it from time to time to let bruno run while i work outside so she doesn't have to be on a leash all the time.
beauty Dobie! I used to have a Red too and the 6' fence was nothing to it.
So, don't read it.
Pure ignorance!
My family has had Amstaffs since I was 1. I am now 26. We have 2 within my immediate family, my parents also have 2. They have been the best dogs ever. Not one issue.
