NYC's prized coal-fired pizza shops could be 'crushed' by costly green-fueled regulations: pizzeria owner

Taxpayers should foot bill for costly NYC regulations on business owners: Paulie Gee

New rules to curb carbon emissions could cost some New York City pizzerias tens of thousands of dollars and change the New York slice for good, said one pizza shop owner.

"I think these regulations are typically come up with by people who don't own businesses," Brooklyn pizzeria owner Paul Giannone, known as Paulie Gee, told Fox News Digital.

"Part of what makes our pizza cook the way it does is you have to cook with an open flame. When you cook it in a different kind of oven, you won't get the results that will produce a Neapolitan-style pizza," he said. "It'll be a dying breed. People just are not going to deal with this anymore."

California man 'knocked out' by good Samaritan after allegedly throwing lighter fluid on pizzeria cook

Robert Haight is charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a caustic chemical

A California man was arrested after allegedly throwing lighter fluid on an employee at a pizza joint and threatening to light him on fire.

The incident took place at Allegro Pizza in the city of Thousand Oaks on Sunday at around 1:45 p.m. before the restaurant opened its doors to customers, restaurant owner Raul Ferrero told FOX 11 LA.

A cook was preparing pizzas for his shift when a man, later identified as Robert Haight, walked into the restaurant with his small dog, approached the worker and tossed liquid at him.

"He thought it was a joke," Ferrero said, referring to his cook. "He thought it was water. When he smelled the gasoline that was when he reacted."

NYC Mandates All Pizza Must Be Cooked Under A Bathroom Hand Dryer

NEW YORK CITY, NY — In order to save the environment from the intoxicating smell of delicious New York pizza cooked in a woodfire oven, Mayor Eric Adams has announced that all pizza must now be cooked under the hand dryer of a public restroom.

"Our planet is dying, and will die sooner if we don't clean up our air immediately," said Adams to a crowd of outraged Italian immigrants. "My chain-smoking Grandma raised me down the street from a pizzeria, and now my second cousin has asthma. The pizza is to blame."

Barstool’s Portnoy shreds ‘pink-haired liberal’ who drafted regulations for NYC coal ovens

'You got people getting slashed on the subway. You got flash mobs robbing stores. And you’re coming for coal-oven pizzerias?' he asked

Barstool Sports president and founder Dave Portnoy berated the leftist policymakers looking to impact New York City pizza makers with environmental regulations on coal-fired ovens this week, trashing them for doing so while ignoring the rise of crime in the city.

It goes back to what i have been saying all along.
We have some bad laws, but we do have some way to work with laws. Laws have to be passed openly and we get to be able to at least elect our representatives.
Regulations are made by some pinhead Mofo sitting behind a desk. An unelected suck-butt who got his job by brown nosing. He sits there and makes regulations that have the same effect as a law affecting thousands of people and we have no input and no egress from it's sanctions.
Regulations are BS and there are millions of them made up on the fly.
